Video Grand Rapid is the great artwork base with a mixture of both old and new ideas. Grand Rapid was expressing well about the variety of people’s life in America. Several people showed up in video with different customs base on their daily life such as police and player uniforms. While taking video, all they were lip synched an old song happily, and did best for expressing their daily activities through the video. They showed up how they are playing sports like football and what they do in daytime. In addition, they showed up most streets and entire place of town where they go live and such as a park, street, and river. So, I could feel their pride and happiness in their daily life during watching their video. Unlike them, I express my daily life, feelings and thoughts through painting and writing. Therefore, their new artwork came to me freshly and shockingly. It will help people to refresh their views of art, and they will try to use the videos more to express themselves more than they did in the past.
Video Brooklyn and San Francisco violate individual’s life. In this video, people used cartoon characters and politicians like governors and President Bush to create fun videos such as photo of President Bush seems like making weird sounds or says weird word. Although it is the new idea that most people do not think, it crisis our leaders and might make them upset. Moreover, dancing people in the street and middle of stair, and roof of building is hard to see as new art and new culture. It blocks the way that people walk through during express their feelings and thoughts, and most people are busy to watch their performance. In addition, anyone can fall down to the ground during dancing on the roof of a building. This video made me think America is a free and dangerous country. Therefore, it makes me think I must very careful to not get in danger by excess freedom during I live in America. Furthermore, this video would make several populations, teenager are more prefer to do it, would try the same thing in a public place, and it would become one of America’s culture.
To sum up, I am happy to learn new styles of art and see the culture’s development. I learned a lot from these videos, and it would help me to build creative ideas in my brain. However, I also understand how excess freedom effects on our idea and how they are negative and dangerous to our society. Therefore, mixture between old and new art are new idea and art breaking bounds if people do not use for crisis and violation
